In the survey, international solar panel installation companies in 45 countries were asked, which brand they considered producing the best solar panels, the best solar panel inverters, the best solar panel mounting systems, the best solar power trackers and the best solar systems. They aimed to explore, which firm offered the best product quality and which provides the best value for money as well. The results are displayed in this article with some background information on the leading companies to produce the best solar panels.

Global No. 1 brand is SunPower, an US manufacturer with decades of experience in producing best solar panels. SunPower turns out electric solar panels which are proven to gain the best degrees of efficiency. SunPowers best solar panels hold the 2009 efficiency world record and are claimed being 50% more powerful than SunPowers closest competitor's best solar panels. And they are supposed to be up to two to four times more powerful than best solar panels in thin film technology as well.

Coming in second: Schott Solar. Schott Solar is a German manufacturer and makes both, water solar panels (solar collectors, respectively receivers) for commercial use in solar power plants and electric solar panels for private homes as well. SolarWorld also produce mounting- and tracking systems and a lot of useful accessories for their best solar panels.

In the category "Product Quality", the best solar panels come from the Japanese company Sanyo, as they ranked No.1
